Sea Glass Jewellery
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of creating bespoke jewellery using both my customers’ treasured finds and my own collected pieces. From sea glass and pebbles to beach pottery and shells, each design is thoughtfully handcrafted to capture memories of special holidays, engagements, milestone moments, and a love of the coast.
SELECTING YOUR OWN BEACH TREASURE PIECE?
I can transform most beach treasures into jewellery, including sea glass, pebbles, pottery, and shells.
Some designs work best with certain shapes and sizes, so if you send me a photo of your piece next to a ruler — showing both the front and side views — I can advise on the best options for your design.
I generally preserve the natural size, shape, and finish of your treasure, as these details have been formed over many years by the sea. However, some pieces can be carefully shaped into forms such as round, oval, or teardrop designs where suitable.
FAQ's
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Depending on the intricacy of your commission and my current workload, pieces typically take 2–8 weeks to complete. If your design requires sourcing materials or hallmarking, this may take a little longer.
If you need your jewellery for a specific date, please let me know and I will always do my best to accommodate your timeline.
WHAT MATERIALS WILL BE USED?
I work primarily in Sterling Silver and Argentium Silver, while also using Fine Silver, 9ct gold, and 18ct gold.
All metals are recycled and UK sourced, along with all gift boxes and packaging.
I can also rework your own solid gold and gemstone heirlooms.
I collect the sea glass, pebbles, and beach pottery myself from my local beach at Seaham on the North East coast, alongside pieces gathered during my travels.
Gemstones are responsibly sourced from a carefully selected group of trusted suppliers committed to sustainable and ethical practices.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Every bespoke project is unique, with pricing depending on the materials used and the time required to create your piece.
There is no additional charge for my bespoke service. Every piece of our jewellery is individually made, by hand, in my workshop using the same processes, and with equal care and precision
However, if your design requires custom sketches or drawings, a non-refundable design fee of £25 will apply. Once you are happy with the final design, a 50% deposit is required before work begins. This deposit secures the necessary materials and reserves space on my bench. The remaining balance will be due upon completion.
