Cairn Pendant Necklace. 
 
HANDMADE AND READY TO POST
 
These striking pendants have been created by recycling sterling silver into three differently sized pebbles and soldering them together in a stack. 
 
Each is unique with a  slightly pitted and organic face, whilst the back has been sanded and polished the back to allow for the hallmark. 
 
A Cairn is a man-made stack of stone. The building of cairns go back to prehistoric times for burial monument and markers. Stacking and balancing stones is an art, that takes patience and can be used as a form of meditation. 
 
I use recycled sterling silver in all of my designs, and any scraps or off-cuts I produce gets melted down and reformed in-house. This is exactly the same as unrecycled sterling silver, but allows for zero waste. It is also eco-friendly and sustainable.
